I had the priviledge of volunteering for the festival from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and it was a wonderful event.  I assisted in the KWYK tent and Tim Tingle was the storyteller for the day.  Erin a freshman at Piedra Vista was the opening act for Tim.  She did an awesome job telling a story about Rapunzel and what a great story it was!  She used great emotion and utilized the audience well.  Despite the technical difficulties encountered with the microphone.  She did an awesome job projecting her voice across the audience.  Tim was an awesome feature and it was quite an experience to watch his story come to life.  His stories consisted of a personal and cultural component.  He was vivid and kept the audience involved.  He really scared the audience which they loved.  It was an amazing experience to watch the storytellers and watch the reaction of the children in the audience who held onto every word spoken. Needless to say I would love to return next year.
