Teaching Philosophy:
I know I want to be the one who helps children succeed. I have a love for helping children
and watching them grow. I think of the many transitions I have students take from the start to the end of the school year. As a future teacher it is essential that I have a goal that will be accomplished through
commitment in the classroom. Stating a personal philosophy to incorporate into your teaching enables you to strive to be a
wonderful educator.
- To utilize the diversity of all students and welcome them.
- Each student has great potential.
- Empower students to be lifelong learners.
- To guide and motivate students by making learning fun.
- Make life connections a focal topic to engage students.
- To involve students to take ownership of their learning.
- To incorporate various learning styles to reach all students.
- To utilize cooperative learning and manipulatives to assist
students.
- To be consistent and say what I mean.
- To build a mutual respecting relationship in the classroom.
- To love what I do to inspire students to reach a higher level
of thinking.
My philosophy is to have my classroom centered on the student.
It will give them responsibility to take ownership of their learning, and to motivate students into being a well-educated
intellectual who respects others.
